Description:

Come to Sorrento and learn the art of the traditional Italian pizza – a dish at the heart of every Napolitano. Set in the kitchen of a typical villa Sorrentina, your hands-on class focuses on the
essential techniques needed to recreate the perfect pizza in your home.

Unique to Ciao Laura, your special 3-course class also includes a typical Italian entrée and desert, all of which will be
enjoyed on the pool terrace.

Pizza

Ciao Laura Menu:

Entrée – Involtini di Peperoni or Parmigiana di Melanzane (depending on ingredients of the day)
Main – Pizza making (various toppings supplied, then cooked in the traditional wood fire oven)
Dessert – Torta Caprese or Tiramisu (depending on ingredients of the day)

Pizza never tasted this good and once you have practiced making your own authentic Neapolitan style pizza, you will be equipped with the necessary skills to recreate the experience right in the comforts of your very own home (alas, perhaps without the lemon trees, unless you are very lucky!)

This class is family friendly and is designed to accommodate chefs of all ages and experience levels. It’s all about fun, family and friends, so please join us won’t you?

Included in the Pizza Cooking Lesson:

  • Extended course time 6 pm – 10:00 pm
  • 3 courses – appetizer, main and dessert
  • English translation
  • Dinner on the Pool Terrace complete with a glass of local wine (or soft drink or bottled water), Italian bread basket and tea or coffee to finish
  • Souvenir apron and take home recipe cards

We as a group of eight were staying in Sorrento for one week.  We decided to do the Pizza al Forno cooking class and it turn out to be the highlight of the week. They were the most wonderful fun loving couple, who know their stuff.  We had a fun filled day learning all the trick of the trade. I am going to try and replicate the pizza at home.  I would recommend anyone visiting in the area to do this cooking lesson.

Terms of Payment and Cancellation Policy:

A 20% non-refundable deposit is due to confirm your lesson. The remaining balance is due in cash on the day of the lesson.

Please note that the price does not include transportation, room and board or any other excursions. We also require a credit card number to reserve your placement. The credit card will not be charged for the remaining balance due unless we receive cancellation after the initial booking (upon receipt of your non-refundable deposit) and in this case, we reserve the right to charge your credit card for the balance due in the event of a no show or cancellation with 30 days of the class date, for any reason.

Please note that no credit will be given for anyone who decides not to cook after the initial deposit is received, and the client will still be responsible for paying for the person if you do not show for class or decide that you no longer wish to participate. If the class is canceled by the school, your deposit will be returned in full less wiring fees, if applicable.

We highly advise you to purchase travel insurance in the event of emergency, illness, change in your itinerary, accident or act of God, which we are not responsible for covering. This includes missed transfers and connections and if the client is not able to find the driver, you agree to call the number provided in the confirmation letter and not hold us responsible for a missed transfer.
