Roll up your sleeves and join in the fun in this relaxed and delicious cookery class focusing on your favorite Italian pasta and sauce pairings with dolce, of course!
During your lesson, you'll learn to cook pasta "al dente" (whether it is dried pasta or fresh pasta, both will be prepared during your class) and make fresh pasta from scratch along with the preparation of classic Italian sauces.
Our Italian Classics™ one-day course is a perfectly delicious way to spend a unique day in Sorrento, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center in a beautiful garden setting with our friendly local friends and family where you'll roll up your sleeves, sip wine and dine on your creations - now that's amore!
The final menu of the day will vary according to available ingredients and will include a total of 3 different pasta shapes, paired with accompanying sauces plus dolce, wine and limoncello.
Here is a list of examples of the some of the pasta dishes that may be included in your class (chef's choice of 3, based on seasonal availabilty):
- Alfredo sauce (typically, winter dish)
- Neapolitan Genovese
- Farfalle proscuitto e panna
- Ziti carciofi e salsiccia (artichoke and sausage)
- Ziti alla Genovese
- Ziti ragu napoletano (tomato meat sauce)

- Spaghetti all Nerano (spring/summer dish with zucchini & fresh basil)
If you have your heart set on learning to make either of the classic Roman dishes such as "Pasta Carbonara" or "Pasta all Amatriciana", please let us know in advance.
And of course, in Italy, no meal is complete in Italy without your sweet "dolce" ending, which will include either the classic tiramisu, panna cotta or a lemon or chocolate "torta caprese" from the island of Capri.
*Please note that recipes vary according to the season, utilizing only the freshest ingredients available and based on the advance request of the clients, based on a first-come, first-served basis. All pasta + sauce combinations offered are delicious and we're certain there will be something for everyone to enjoy on this day!
